What is this Ministry?

I have people ask me what is this PineWood Derby ministry?

And that's a very good question. I started a long time ago with the derby and have enjoyed it ever since. When I started doing the races and seeing the smiles on the kids faces, it was hard to turn back. It's hard to turn around and say. "I have better things to do then to spend time with a child's game of little cars."

The race is not just "good sportsmanship" but simply put it's .. FUN!!!! The kids love it. Every race I watch the kids, and see time after time that the kids don't care that much if their car comes in last or first. They just enjoy seeing all their hard work put to good use. This is what it's all about!

There are people that say: "Why an entire computer system?" "Why have network computers?" and the biggest one of them all "Why don't you make any money on it?". This last one is the hardest. But it's very simple. I enjoy helping all the kids in the world at the same time. If this is the way I can do it, then I most defiantly will. I enjoy it and God has been with me the entire way. If it was not for him I would not be where I am today.

I have a mission just like every other Church / Christian out there. That is to provide as many clubs with a very low cost computerized pine wood derby track as possible. There are a lot of other computerized interfaces and programs on the market but none of which is setup at as low a cost as this is. My price is at cost. I don't have that much of a manual. Don't have a 1-800 tech support number. Don't have over-night shipment. Don't have ready to use Tracks for sale. If you are looking for this, your looking in the wrong place. But what I do have is a ministry that will help clubs that don't have a track or at least do not have an electronic interface for it. With this system their kids can have fun and get fully setup with there own derby track so they can have their own races. This will also allow each child to get electronics, wood working, and pine wood derby honors.

Unfortunately, I don't have that much time to work with this project. I do as much as I can with full time school and work. My ministry is just starting and I hope it keeps growing and growing. And I know God can make it happen.
