August 14, 2002

I'm sorry to say but I have just gotten married, moved, and started new job.   Allot is going on in my life and for me to support the ministry in my spare time is to much.   I have decided that I will set it aside for now and

Demo Program and Data

August 14, 2002

Go to the Download page and you will now see where I have added a download of the PineWood Racer Demo program.   It is just like the full version but will not communicate with the track Interface.

You can use this program to test out the PineWood Racer package and all of it's features.  Such as Networking, Statistical Information, Club and Age group handling.   You can even test out compatibility with printers and Barcode readers.

CueCat Support Added

November 17, 2000

It's official I now have added support for the CueCat barcode reader  into my programs now.   It works very well, even though I still recommend a true barcode scanner if you can afford it.  But it's not bad for the price.  And if you can't afford a good one then the CueCat is by far the way to go.  PineWood Racer version 3.70 will be the first released program to support the CueCat.

Get more information on how to obtain a CueCat at the following page: http://www.cuecat.com

CueCat Support

November 11, 2000

I am adding support for the RadioShack CueCat barcode reader.  This barcode reader is given out by RadioShack as a package so you can search for items on the internet faster.  But I have found how to use it as a general purpose barcode reader also.  So I will be adding support for the CueCat in my programs soon.   It will be used to replace the professional scanners that cost a lot more.

Windows ME Support

September 22, 2000

Well it works.   I have tested Windows ME with my program and it seems to work very well even though Microsoft removed true DOS support and now have a DOS VM.   I was not positive if it would work or not.
